MINOR FLOODING PEAKING AT FLINTON DURING SUNDAY
No significant rainfall is forecast for the next few days.
Moonie River to Flinton:
Minor flooding on the Moonie River at Flinton remains near a peak during Sunday.
The Moonie River at Flinton manual gauge was at 3.10 metres (minor flood) and steady at 8am Sunday morning, with the causeway at 2.3 metres. The Moonie River at Flinton is likely to remain above the minor flood level (3.00 m) for the next few days.
Moonie River downstream of Flinton:
Renewed river level rises are likely along the lower Moonie River to the NSW border during this week.
No observations are available for the manual gauge at Nindigully. However based on the nearby automatic gauge, the Moonie River at Nindigully is expected to be below the minor flood level (2.20 m) during Sunday, with renewed river level rises in the next few days.
No observations are available from the manual gauge at Thallon Bridge, however river levels are expected to be below minor on Sunday. Renewed river level rises are expected later this week.
