Minor Flood Warning for the lower Warrego River

Issued at 8:50 am EST on Saturday 1 October 2016

Flood Warning Number: 17

Minor flood levels are easing on the lower Warrego River between Cunnamulla Bridge and Rocky.

No significant rainfall is expected until Sunday and Monday when another trough is likely to bring widespread rain and showers across the catchment.

Warrego River downstream of Charleville:

Minor flood levels continue falling on the Warrego River downstream of Wallen.

Minor flood levels at Cunnamulla Bridge (manual) continue to fall. River levels are expected to remain above the minor flood level (6.00 m) across the weekend.

Minor flood levels at Rocky continue to ease. River levels will remain above the minor flood level (2.5 m) across the weekend.
