Climate Change in Australia (CCiA) - the NRM project

Providing climate change projections for Australia based on the most recent set of internationally co-ordinated modelling experiments (CMIP5).

Produced by CSIRO and the Australian Bureau of Meteorology, the work developed an extensive range of climate change projections for Australia based on the most recent set of internationally co-ordinated modelling experiments (CMIP5). The final project outputs such as the extensive NRM web portal was delivered in 2016.

This new web portal gives decision makers unprecedented access to climate change projections data for Australia. The site presents information from the most comprehensive climate change projections ever released in Australia. Results from this research included updated national and regional information on how the climate may change over the coming decades to the end of this century.

This research received funding from the Department of Environment under the Regional Natural Resource Management Planning for Climate Change Fund. Additional funding was provided by CSIRO and the Bureau of Meteorology.
