Lawson Hanson is an I.T. specialist who enjoys using the power of scripting languages to produce robust computational solutions for the scientists with whom he works.

Lawson was instrumental in implementing some local techniques to download CMIP3 and CMIP5 data from PCMDI and the ESGF onto computers accessible to the Australian Climate Community.
