Current work and responsibilities

Reducing projection uncertainties through model evaluation and understanding and quantifying climate feedbacks: I research into novel analysis techniques and methods to understand new aspects of climate feedbacks (e.g. structure, strength and interrelationships), and their impact on climate change, climate variability and climate sensitivity.

Understanding climate change and it impacts on Australia, Australasia and the Pacific. This includes: extensive work in understanding regional and global climate change; regional climate change projections; drivers of climate variability their changes Australian tropics and monsoon; Pacific region and Pacific island climate and climate change.
