We will be using MS Teams for oral presentations and Gather.Town for E-posters and social events. We strongly recommend that you do not have links to both MS Teams and Gather.Town open at the same time as this may cause audio issues.

MS Teams

For the MS Teams meeting, note that there is a limit of 250 people joining the meeting at any time and a limit of 100 people using the chat.

Each day of the workshop will use a single MS Teams link for the whole day. These links will be emailed to all registrants along with an Outlook meeting invitation shortly. You can open the link at the start of the day and keep it open, or you can close it and re-enter for each session.

There are two ways to use MS Teams to attend this meeting:

  • Using the MS Teams App (download it here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/microsoft-365/microsoft-teams/download-app)
  • Using the web browser interface (Chrome is recommended)

Gather.Town

There is a limit of 200 people at any time for the Gather.Town sessions.

  • Please give yourself a name when you join Gather, otherwise you will appear as Anonymous.
  • Gather town is supported by Chrome, Firefox and MS Edge. You cannot use Safari, Explorer or other browsers.
