Weather Situation

A high pressure system well west of Perth extends a ridge of high pressure to the Bight. A trough will develop over the northwest early Tuesday and then move eastwards over the north of the State. A series of weak cold fronts will pass over the southeast early this week ahead of a more significant cold front expected over the south overnight Wednesday into Thursday morning.

Forecast for the rest of Monday

Partly cloudy. Slight (20%) chance of a shower in the south, near zero chance elsewhere. Winds westerly 15 to 20 km/h tending southwesterly in the morning then becoming light in the evening. Daytime maximum temperatures around 18.
