A trough over the northeast will remain near stationary until late Wednesday when it will move away to the east. A high pressure ridge lies over the south but will move northwards on Wednesday as a cold front moves over the south. The ridge will persist over the north on Thursday and Friday and result in a westerly airstream over the south.

Cloudy. Medium chance of showers, most likely in the morning and afternoon. Winds west to northwesterly 15 to 20 km/h becoming light before dawn then becoming northwesterly 25 to 35 km/h in the morning. Overnight temperatures falling to between 5 and 9 with daytime temperatures reaching around 16.
