Weather Situation

A high pressure system is located in the Tasman Sea. A trough of low pressure will develop over the far northeast of the State tonight and move southwestwards during Tuesday. Additionally, another trough will move into the far west early on Tuesday, then gradually extend eastwards during the day. These troughs will merge later Tuesday over the north of the State and remain stationary on Wednesday. Another high will pass to the south of the Bight during Wednesday then a broad area of low pressure is expected to develop over the State on Thursday.

Very hot and sunny. Winds north to northeasterly 25 to 35 km/h shifting south to southwesterly in the late afternoon. Overnight temperatures falling to around 16 with daytime temperatures reaching around 40.
