A high pressure system well south of the Bight will move slowly eastwards to be centred over the southern Tasman Sea late Thursday. A trough of low pressure will deepen near the eastern border on Thursday and Friday.

Sunny. Winds southeast to southwesterly 20 to 25 km/h becoming southeasterly 20 to 30 km/h early in the morning then tending southerly 15 to 20 km/h in the late evening. Overnight temperatures falling to between 9 and 12 with daytime temperatures reaching the mid to high 20s.
