Weather Situation

A high pressure system west of Perth extends a ridge of high pressure over waters south of the Bight. A cold front will pass over the south early in the week on the eastern flank of the ridge. The high in the west will move to a position south of the Bight by mid-week maintaining a broad south to southeasterly flow across the state, then continue east to be over the Tasman Sea by the end of the week.

Forecast for the rest of Monday

Cloudy. Slight chance of a shower in the southwest, near zero chance elsewhere. Light winds becoming south to southwesterly 15 to 20 km/h in the middle of the day then becoming light in the evening. Daytime maximum temperatures in the low 20s.
