A high pressure system will become established over the Bight today then will move eastwards to be over the Tasman Sea by Wednesday afternoon. Another trough will move across the far west on Thursday then over the remainder of the west and south on Friday then will move slowly across the northeast. A high pressure ridge will move across the south over the weekend.
Forecast for the rest of Tuesday
Mostly sunny. Winds westerly 20 to 30 km/h turning south to southwesterly 25 to 35 km/h in the late morning and afternoon. Daytime maximum temperatures in the mid to high 20s.
