A high over Tasmania will move eastwards to be centred over the Tasman Sea on Tuesday then remain near stationary for the remainder of the week. An upper level disturbance will slowly move across the southeast of the State this evening and overnight.

Partly cloudy. The chance of showers and thunder, contracting to the eastern border and clearing by midday. Winds northeasterly 15 to 25 km/h. Overnight temperatures falling to around 9 with daytime temperatures reaching the mid 20s.
