Weather Situation

A ridge of high pressure over the south of the State will persist through to the middle of the week. A very hot northerly airstream will develop later in the week ahead of a trough of low pressure and associated upper feature that will drag tropical moisture over the State as the trough moves across the west and south on Friday and the northeast on Saturday.

Clear. Winds south to southeasterly 15 to 20 km/h becoming light in the evening.

Wednesday 29 January

Very hot and sunny. Light winds becoming northeasterly 15 to 20 km/h in the late evening. Overnight temperatures falling to between 14 and 17 with daytime temperatures reaching around 40.
