Weather Situation

A high near Tasmania will slowly move over the Tasman Sea. A weakening trough will move over the far west of the State today ahead of a low pressure system that is developing well south of the Bight and is expected to move northeastwards to be southwest of Kangaroo Island Friday evening and across to Victoria late Saturday.

Mostly sunny. Areas of fog and frost in the morning, locally severe. Light winds. Overnight temperatures falling to between minus 2 and 1 above zero with daytime temperatures reaching around 17.
