Weather Situation

A high pressure system centred over the Tasman Sea will continue to move slowly eastwards, reaching New Zealand later Wednesday. A trough of low pressure over the far west of the State will also move only slowly eastwards during the next few days reaching the eastern border on Friday.

Mostly sunny. Winds north to northeasterly 25 to 35 km/h. Overnight temperatures falling to around 20 with daytime temperatures reaching the mid to high 30s.
