Weather Situation

A vigorous trough and embedded low will develop over the west of the State this morning, and then move southeastwards and intensify during the day, to be centred over the southeast of SA in the evening, followed by a ridge of high pressure on Friday. A high pressure system will move south of the Bight on Saturday.

Partly cloudy. Very high (90%) chance of showers. The chance of a thunderstorm, with gusty winds in the late morning and afternoon. Winds south to southeasterly 15 to 20 km/h tending east to southeasterly 20 to 30 km/h in the morning then shifting west to northwesterly 35 to 55 km/h in the late afternoon. Daytime maximum temperatures around 30.
