Weather Situation

A trough over southern WA will get captured by a cold front today and move east over SA this weekend. A high pressure system builds in the Bight on Sunday, with a stabilising ridge developing over the state early next week.

Forecast for the rest of Friday

Partly cloudy. Medium chance of showers west of Ceduna, most likely in the late afternoon and evening. Near zero chance of rain elsewhere. The chance of a thunderstorm west of Nullarbor in the afternoon and evening, possibly severe. Winds north to northwesterly 25 to 40 km/h tending northwest to southwesterly 15 to 20 km/h in the evening. Daytime maximum temperatures 28 to 33.
