A high pressure ridge will move in from the west and quickly tracks eastwards during the day with a weak trough sweeping across the state on Thursday. A cold front will skim the south on Friday with a southwesterly airstream establishing in its wake on Saturday as a high pressure ridge develops over the far west and persists during the weekend.
