Weather Situation

A vigorous cold front will move across western and central parts of the State on Thursday, then across eastern parts on Friday as a ridge of high pressure extends across the State from the west. A low pressure trough will move over the south of the State on Sunday.

Mostly clear. Winds northeasterly 20 to 30 km/h increasing to 25 to 35 km/h in the late evening.

Thursday 19 September

Partly cloudy. Possible areas of raised dust in the late morning and afternoon. Slight (20%) chance of a shower at night. The chance of a thunderstorm at night with gusty winds. Winds northerly 40 to 60 km/h shifting southwesterly 25 to 30 km/h in the evening then tending southeast to southwesterly 15 to 20 km/h in the late evening. Overnight temperatures falling to between 10 and 13 with daytime temperatures reaching 26 to 31.
