Weather Situation

A high pressure system centred south of Tasmania will weaken overnight. A vigorous trough, followed closely by a cold front in the south, will move over the west of the State on Tuesday then move eastwards to reach eastern parts later Wednesday. The trough and front will then move over the eastern states and a high pressure system will develop to the west of the Bight late Friday.

Clear. Winds southeasterly 15 to 25 km/h turning easterly 15 to 20 km/h in the late evening.

Tuesday 26 October

Mostly sunny. Winds east to northeasterly 15 to 25 km/h tending north to northeasterly 25 to 40 km/h early in the morning then tending east to northeasterly 20 to 30 km/h in the late afternoon. Overnight temperatures falling to around 12 with daytime temperatures reaching the low 30s.
