Weather Situation

A ridge of high pressure lies over the Bight today. A cold front will extend to western and southern coasts around midday Wednesday, then move northeastwards to reach the northeast corner of the State early Thursday morning. A high pressure system will then develop southwest of the Bight on Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday

Mostly clear. Winds west to southwesterly 15 to 20 km/h tending southeast to southwesterly in the late evening.

Wednesday 29 March

Cloudy. Medium (60%) chance of showers, most likely from the late morning. Winds west to northwesterly 25 to 40 km/h turning southwesterly 30 to 45 km/h in the late morning and early afternoon. Overnight temperatures falling to between 10 and 15 with daytime temperatures reaching the low to mid 20s.
