Fire Weather Warning
for the North West Pastoral, Flinders and Mid North forecast districts

Issued at 5:47 am CDT on Friday 24 October 2014.

Weather Situation

Hot and dry with generally northwest to westerly winds 25-40 km/h ahead of a southwest to southerly wind change during the afternoon. Possible afternoon thundery showers with little rainfall.

For the rest of Friday 24 October:

Severe Fire Danger is forecast for the following forecast districts:
North West Pastoral, Flinders and Mid North
The Country Fire Service advises that fires burning under these conditions are likely to be fast-moving and uncontrollable.
