Fire Weather Warning
for the North East Pastoral fire weather district

Issued at 4:01 pm CDT on Tuesday 6 December 2022.

The Country Fire Service advises you to:

  • Action your Bushfire Survival Plan now.
  • Monitor the fire and weather situation through your local radio station, www.cfs.sa.gov.au, and www.bom.gov.au.
  • Call 000 (Triple Zero) in an emergency.

For Wednesday 7 December:

Extreme Fire Danger is forecast for the following fire weather district:
North East Pastoral

Weather Situation

Fresh to strong and gusty south to southwesterly winds coupled with dry air, warm to hot temperatures and possible isolated thunderstorms with little to any rainfall, most likely in the morning. Hot to very hot northwesterly winds in the far northeast will give way to the south to southwesterly change as it extends northwards in the morning and early afternoon.
