Fire Weather Warning
for the North West Pastoral, North East Pastoral, West Coast, Eastern Eyre Peninsula, Flinders, Mid North, Mount Lofty Ranges and Yorke Peninsula forecast districts

Issued at 3:44 pm CDT on Saturday 25 October 2014.

Weather Situation

Hot to very hot and dry with north to northwesterly winds around 30-45 km/h ahead of a cooler west to southwesterly change around 30-45 km/h. The change will be near Ceduna during the morning and will extend eastwards across the State to be near Adelaide around mid afternoon. Possible thunderstorms with little rainfall ahead and with the change.

For Sunday 26 October:

Extreme Fire Danger is forecast for the following forecast districts:
Flinders and Mid North
The Country Fire Service advises that fires burning under these conditions are likely to be fast-moving and uncontrollable.

Severe Fire Danger is forecast for the following forecast districts:
North West Pastoral, North East Pastoral, West Coast, Eastern Eyre Peninsula, Mount Lofty Ranges and Yorke Peninsula
The Country Fire Service advises that fires burning under these conditions are likely to be fast-moving and uncontrollable.
