Geostationary Satellite Data Archive

Satellite | Satellite Products and Archive | About Satellite Images

The Bureau currently receives geostationary satellite data from GOES-9 (JMA and NOAA) and Feng Yun 2 (China Meteorological Service). The geostationary satellite archive consists of data from these satellites, as well as from GMS.

Charges apply to extraction of data from the archive. A browse service is available for GMS and GOES-9 data to assist in selecting dates and times of the images required from the archive. Quotes for provision of the data in the format, projection and on the medium required can be obtained by clicking on the "Feedback" tab at the top of this page, and select "Satellite Pictures" on the Feedbck page.
