Forecast issued at 4:25 pm EST on Monday 18 June 2018.

Weather Situation

A high pressure system currently just west of Tasmania is expected to continue moving southeast over coming days, extending a ridge over Tasmania early tomorrow as it passes just south of the state, with the ridge to move east tomorrow as a cold front crosses the Bight. This front will then weaken as it continues to approach the state on Wednesday, then slowly dissipate over the west coast on Thursday. Another cold front embedded in a northwesterly stream is then expected on Friday.
