Weather Situation

A high to the south of Tasmania extends a ridge over the south and east of the state. The high will remain about southern and eastern Tasmania over the next few days, before moving over the southern Tasman Sea early Sunday. Meanwhile a low pressure centre will move over South Australia on Friday, while it will slowly move to the south of Adelaide during the weekend. A weak cold front is expected to pass to the south on Monday morning, to be quickly followed by a ridge extending over Tasmania from a new high forming to the west.

Mostly sunny. Winds east to northeasterly 15 to 20 km/h becoming light early in the morning then becoming northeasterly 15 to 25 km/h in the morning. Daytime maximum temperatures in the low 20s.
