A cold front will cross Tasmania today, with an associated low to move to the south of the state later today. A ridge from a high over New South Wales is expected to build over Tasmania on Wednesday. The ridge is expected to move away to the east early Thursday, with a northwesterly stream to develop and continue through Friday.

Cloudy. Very high chance of showers, becoming less likely late this afternoon and evening. The chance of a thunderstorm during the morning and afternoon. Winds northwesterly 30 to 45 km/h turning westerly in the late morning. Daytime maximum temperatures around 14.
