Weather Situation

A broad and complex area of low pressure lies to the south and west of Tasmania. The system will track eastwards today and a weak low and associated cold front will cross the west coast tonight. A colder southwesterly stream will develop during Monday morning, then tend westerly on Tuesday as a high moves over Victoria. The high is expected to move over the Tasman Sea early Wednesday, while an area of low pressure over the Bight moves southeastwards, forecast to lie over Tasmania in the evening.

Cloudy. Very high (95%) chance of showers. The chance of a thunderstorm with gusty winds. Winds westerly 35 to 50 km/h turning northwesterly 40 to 55 km/h during the day. Daytime maximum temperatures around 15.
