Weather Situation

A west to southwesterly airstream will persist over Tasmania this evening and during Tuesday, as a high builds over the Bight. The high will move to the south of Tasmania later on Wednesday, then become centred over the Tasman Sea on Thursday. A trough is expected to extend from Victoria over northern Tasmania during Friday.

Clear. Winds westerly 25 to 40 km/h.

Cloudy. Winds westerly 25 to 35 km/h tending southwesterly 20 to 30 km/h before dawn then becoming light in the morning. Overnight temperatures falling to around 13 with daytime temperatures reaching the low 20s.
