Weather Situation

A series of low pressure systems will move to the south of Tasmania tonight, Sunday evening and during Tuesday. These lows are bringing cold fronts over the state on Sunday night, early Tuesday and on Wednesday. Cold and fresh to strong and gusty southwest to northwesterly winds prevail over the coming days before shifting to an even cooler southerly on Wednesday with a high pressure centre establishing south of the Bight.

Sunday 26 May

Cloudy. Very high (near 100%) chance of showers. The chance of a thunderstorm in the evening. Winds west to northwesterly 45 to 65 km/h becoming westerly 35 to 50 km/h in the late afternoon. Overnight temperatures falling to around 10 with daytime temperatures reaching around 14.
