Weather Situation

A deep low will pass by northeast Tasmania this morning, before tracking into the Tasman Sea during the afternoon. A high pressure ridge moves across the state this evening, then away over the Tasman Sea during Monday, resulting in a warm northerly flow across the state. A low pressure system to Tasmania's west approaches during Tuesday and extends a vigorous cold front, which crosses the state late in the day with winds turning cooler westerly. A second front crosses the state early on Wednesday morning, resulting in a strong and gusty west to southwesterly flow.

Partly cloudy. Very high (90%) chance of rain in the early morning. Winds southwesterly 25 to 35 km/h decreasing to 15 to 20 km/h in the evening then becoming light in the late evening. Daytime maximum temperatures around 18.
