Weather Situation

A moderating southwesterly airstream lies over Tasmania as a high slowly moves south of the Bight on Tuesday, and extends a weak ridge over the state. A weak trough will cross the state during the day, with another to pass to the south in the evening. On Wednesday the high will move over Tasmania in the evening, then away to the northeast during Thursday. A northerly stream will strengthen on Friday ahead of a cold front to cross the state in the evening, bringing a cooler southwesterly change.

Cloudy. Medium (50%) chance of showers, most likely during the morning and afternoon. Light winds becoming southerly 15 to 20 km/h in the early afternoon. Daytime maximum temperatures around 16.
