Weather Situation

A ridge of high pressure lies over the mainland with a northwesterly airstream prevailing across the State. A cold front is expected to cross Tasmania during Wednesday evening, followed by a cold southwest to southeasterly stream, which will ease on Thursday as a large high moves over the Bight. The high will extend a ridge through Bass Strait on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with a westerly airstream to prevail across the State.

Cloudy. High (70%) chance of showers. Winds northwesterly 15 to 25 km/h tending westerly 15 to 20 km/h in the late evening.

Partly cloudy. High (80%) chance of showers, most likely in the morning. Light winds becoming southeasterly 15 to 25 km/h in the morning then tending southerly in the middle of the day. Overnight temperatures falling to around 9 with daytime temperatures reaching around 13.
