Weather Situation

A high over the Tasman Sea and a trough to the west of Tasmania are combining to produce a northerly flow over the state. The trough will weaken and cross Tasmania early on Thursday, embedded in a northwesterly flow, followed by another trough late in the evening. A high over Victoria will slowly move eastwards on Friday, while a cold front passes to the south of Tasmania and another front approaches from the west late on Saturday.
