A high pressure centre develops over the Bight, ridging over Tasmania during Thursday, before the centre moves by the west of the state on Friday. The high directs an easterly flow over Tasmania during Saturday.

Partly cloudy. High chance of showers, most likely in the morning and early afternoon. The chance of a thunderstorm. Winds east to northeasterly 25 to 40 km/h shifting west to southwesterly 35 to 50 km/h in the middle of the day.
