Weather Situation

A high pressure system over the Southern Ocean extends a ridge across Tasmania which will persist throughout the weekend, directing a south to southeasterly flow over the state. The centre of the high will slowly drift eastwards and cross Tasmania during Monday, then move to the east early Tuesday, allowing a northerly stream to develop.
