Weather Situation

A west to southwesterly airstream will persist over Tasmania today, as a high builds over the Bight. The high will move to the south of Tasmania later on Wednesday, then become centred over the Tasman Sea on Thursday. A trough is expected to extend from Victoria over northern Tasmania during Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday

Partly cloudy. Winds west to southwesterly 15 to 20 km/h turning south to southeasterly 15 to 25 km/h in the late afternoon. Daytime maximum temperatures 20 to 25.
