A weak trough will move eastwards across the state today. A weak cold front will then move over the state Wednesday morning from the west before another ridge quickly pushes over the state in the afternoon. A trough will deepen about eastern Bass Strait during Thursday.

Cloudy. Slight chance of a shower this morning. Light winds becoming east to southeasterly 15 to 20 km/h in the evening then becoming light in the late evening. Daytime maximum temperatures in the mid to high 20s.
