Weather Situation

A high situated to the north of Tasmania combines with a warm front to the south to produce gusty west to northwesterly winds during Monday. The stream will ease on Tuesday as another high moves over the state late in the day. Northerly winds develop during Wednesday, becoming strong and gusty in the evening, as the high moves to the east of Tasmania and a complex area of low pressure moves across the Bight. A cold front is expected to cross Tasmania on Thursday with the gusty northerly winds turning westerly and easing as it passes.
