Weather Situation

A weak trough passes to the south today while a high over Victoria moves over the Tasman Sea. The northwesterly stream will freshen over the state on Thursday and continue through Friday with an embedded trough to cross on Friday afternoon. Yet another trough is expected to cross Tasmania on Saturday before a cold front moves over the state during the day on Sunday, bringing significantly cooler conditions.
