SUMMARY:
An undersea earthquake of magnitude 7.0 has occurred at 11:04 AM EST on Saturday
19 April 2014 near SOLOMON ISLANDS.

THERE IS NO TSUNAMI THREAT TO THE AUSTRALIAN MAINLAND, ISLANDS OR TERRITORIES.

1300 TSUNAMI (1300 878 6264).

No further updates will be issued unless the situation changes.

An undersea earthquake of magnitude 7.0 has occurred at 11:04 AM EST on Saturday
19 April 2014 near SOLOMON ISLANDS (latitude 7.00S, longitude 155.04E). The
JATWC has assessed that there is NO TSUNAMI THREAT TO THE AUSTRALIAN MAINLAND,
ISLANDS OR TERRITORIES from this earthquake.
