SUMMARY:
An undersea earthquake of magnitude 6.9 has occurred at 5:00 PM AEST on Friday
29 May 2015 near ALASKA PENINSULA.

THERE IS NO TSUNAMI THREAT TO THE AUSTRALIAN MAINLAND, ISLANDS OR TERRITORIES.

1300 TSUNAMI (1300 878 6264).

No further updates will be issued unless the situation changes.

An undersea earthquake of magnitude 6.9 has occurred at 5:00 PM AEST on Friday
29 May 2015 near ALASKA PENINSULA (latitude 56.60N, longitude 156.50W). The JATWC
has assessed that there is NO TSUNAMI THREAT TO THE AUSTRALIAN MAINLAND, ISLANDS
OR TERRITORIES from this earthquake.
