Fire Weather Warning
for the Mallee, Northern Country and North Central forecast districts

Weather Situation

Hot and dry conditions are expected across northern and western Victoria on Thursday, with light winds becoming moderate to fresh south to southeasterly during the afternoon before easing during the evening.

For the rest of Thursday 2 March:

Severe Fire Danger is forecast for the following forecast districts:
Mallee, Northern Country and North Central

The CFA advises that you:

  • Action your Bushfire Survival Plan now.
  • Monitor the fire and weather situation through your local radio station, www.cfa.vic.gov.au and www.bom.gov.au.
  • Call 000 (Triple Zero) in an emergency.
