Fire Weather Warning
for the Mallee, Wimmera and North Central forecast districts

Weather Situation

Hot to very hot and dry conditions across much of Victoria on Tuesday with moderate to fresh northerly winds tending fresh and gusty west to northwesterly in the afternoon. A southwesterly wind change is forecast to develop about the western and central coasts in the afternoon and push through inland parts during the late afternoon and evening.

For the rest of Tuesday 17 January:

Severe Fire Danger is forecast for the following forecast districts:
Mallee, Wimmera and North Central

The CFA advises that you:

  • Action your Bushfire Survival Plan now.
  • Monitor the fire and weather situation through your local radio station, www.cfa.vic.gov.au and www.bom.gov.au.
  • Call 000 (Triple Zero) in an emergency.
