Synoptic Situation
A ridge of high pressure is strengthening over southern parts of the state.
Carnarvon to Kalbarri:
Saturday until midnight: Winds: East to southeasterly below 10 knots increasing
to 15 to 20 knots in the evening. Seas: Below 1 metre. Swell: Southwesterly
about 1.5 metres.
Sunday: Winds: East to northeasterly 15 to 20 knots decreasing to variable below
10 knots in the early afternoon then becoming southeasterly 15 to 20 knots in
the evening. Seas: 1 to 1.5 metres increasing to 2 metres around dawn then
decreasing to below 1 metre during the afternoon. Swell: Southwesterly 1 to 2
metres.
Monday: Winds: East to southeasterly 15 to 20 knots. Seas: Up to 1.5 metres.
Swell: Southwesterly 1.5 to 3 metres.
Tuesday: Winds: East to northeasterly 10 to 15 knots then decreasing to variable
below 10 knots during the afternoon.
