Cocos (Keeling) Islands Forecast

Weather Situation:
A trough lies just north of the Islands as a strong ridge to the south directs
a persistent east to southeasterly flow through the region. The trough is
expected to drift slowly southward increasing the chance of showers and
thunderstorms on Saturday.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 27 February
A shower or two with the chance of a thunderstorm.
Winds: East to southeasterly 10 to 15 knots.
Seas: 1.0 to 1.5 metres.
Swell: Southerly 1.0 to 1.5 metres.

A shower or two with the chance of a thunderstorm.
Winds: Variable 5 to 10 knots.
