Cocos (Keeling) Islands Forecast

Weather Situation:
A high pressure ridge well to the south of the Islands is directing a moderate
to fresh southeasterly trade flow across the region. A trough to the north of
the Islands will slowly move south, bringing increasing shower and thunderstorm
activity as it approaches during Monday and Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 29 May
Shower or two.
Winds: Easterly 10 to 15 knots.
Seas: Around 1.0 metre.
Swell: South to southwesterly 3.0 to 3.5 metres.

Showers. Chance of a thunderstorm in the afternoon and evening.
Winds: Easterly 10 to 15 knots.
Seas: Around 1.0 metre.
Swell: Southerly to 3.0 metres.
