Cocos (Keeling) Islands Forecast

Weather Situation:
A low pressure trough with a weak embedded low centre lies to the north of the
Islands. The low pressure system deepens during the week and may bring squally
conditions and heavy rainfall and will continue to be monitored. A mostly
moderate southeasterly trade flow will persist over the Islands over the next
few days.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 22 December
Partly cloudy. Possible shower or two.
Winds: Southeasterly around 15 knots.
Seas: Near 1.5 metres.
Swell: Southerly 2.0 to 2.5 metres.

A few showers.
Winds: Southeasterly around 15 knots.

Showers increasing with possible thunderstorm.
