Cocos (Keeling) Islands Forecast

Weather Situation:
Severe Tropical Cyclone Jack lies southwest of Cocos Islands and is moving to
the south-southeast. The system poses no direct threat to the Islands. Showers
and thunderstorms are expected to persist in the area in moderate northeast to
northerly flow.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 20 April
A few showers and thunderstorms.
Winds: North to northeasterly 10 to 15 knots.
Seas: 1.0 to 1.5 metres.
Swell 1: South to southwesterly around 2.5 metres.
Swell 2: West to northwesterly around 1.0 metres.

Forecast for Monday 21 April
A few showers and thunderstorms.
Winds: North northwesterly 15 to 20 knots.
Seas: 1.0 to 1.5 metres.
Swell 1: Southerly about 2.0 metres.
Swell 2: Northwesterly about 1.5 metres.
