Weather Situation

A ridge of high pressure lies to the south of the state. A deep low pressure system is forecast to develop off the southwest corner of the state on Tuesday. The low and associated cold front will produce wet and windy conditions across the southern half of the state on Tuesday and Wednesday. A second weaker cold front will move over the SW of the state Thursday afternoon. A moist onshore flow will persist about the southwest of the state on Friday and Saturday, before a ridge of high pressure begins to extend over south parts on Sunday.

Partly cloudy. Areas of raised dust in the west in the afternoon and evening. Winds east to northeasterly 15 to 20 km/h tending north to northeasterly 25 to 40 km/h in the morning. Overnight temperatures falling to between 14 and 17 with daytime temperatures reaching around 30.
