Weather Situation
A weak front brushing past the south coast will continue to move east overnight ahead of a new high pressure ridge developing about the southwest coast. The ridge will continue to extend east with a strong high pressure system moving into the Bight on Wednesday directing moderate to fresh and gusty easterly winds across southern and central WA. A west coast trough forms in the second half of the week.

Wednesday 11 September
Partly cloudy. Slight chance of a shower in the far north, near zero chance elsewhere. The chance of a thunderstorm in the far north in the afternoon and evening. Winds southeasterly 20 to 30 km/h tending east to southeasterly 25 to 40 km/h in the morning. Overnight temperatures falling to between 6 and 13 with daytime temperatures reaching the low to mid 20s.
