Weather Situation

A deep trough extends from the Goldfields and over far southern parts of the South West Land Division, and moves into the Interior and Eucla by Sunday. A strong cold front will approach the west coast late on Monday and move over western and southern parts of the State during Tuesday.

Partly cloudy. Slight (20%) chance of a shower in the southeast, becoming less likely later this evening. Near zero chance of rain elsewhere. The chance of a thunderstorm. Winds northwest to southwesterly 25 to 35 km/h decreasing to 15 to 20 km/h in the evening.

Sunday 17 October

Sunny. Winds west to southwesterly 15 to 25 km/h becoming light in the evening. Overnight temperatures falling to between 11 and 15 with daytime temperatures reaching the low to mid 30s.

Partly cloudy. Medium (50%) chance of showers in the morning. The chance of a thunderstorm in the east in the morning. Winds west to northwesterly 30 to 45 km/h increasing to 50 km/h before tending west to southwesterly 15 to 20 km/h during the day. Overnight temperatures falling to between 10 and 14 with daytime temperatures reaching 22 to 27.
