Weather Situation

A low pressure system lies over the Goldfields, whilst a rain band remains near stationary along the eastern south coast. The low will then contract east into South Australia on Wednesday, and the rain band will ease. A high pressure system will move south of the State on Thursday and Friday, with an onshore flow persisting over southern parts. A cold front will approach the west coast later on Saturday.

Partly cloudy. Slight (20%) chance of a shower. The chance of a thunderstorm. Winds west to southwesterly 15 to 25 km/h becoming light in the late evening.

Wednesday 5 August

Partly cloudy. High (80%) chance of showers in the south, slight (30%) chance elsewhere. The chance of a thunderstorm in the east in the early afternoon. Winds west to southwesterly 15 to 25 km/h turning southerly 20 to 30 km/h during the morning. Overnight temperatures falling to between 2 and 5 with daytime temperatures reaching between 15 and 18.
