Weather Situation

A deep trough lies near the west coast and will move east during this evening, bringing a humid change to western coastal parts for Sunday. The trough will contract further eastwards on Monday to lie through central parts of the state and remain fairly stationary on Tuesday. The trough will redevelop near the west coast on Wednesday. Very hot conditions are expected on and east of the trough.

Clear. Light winds becoming easterly 15 to 20 km/h in the evening.

Mostly sunny. Slight (30%) chance of a shower in the far southwest in the afternoon and early evening. Near zero chance of rain elsewhere. The chance of a thunderstorm in the afternoon and evening. Winds east to northeasterly 15 to 20 km/h tending north to northeasterly 15 to 25 km/h early in the morning then tending northeast to southeasterly 15 to 20 km/h in the evening. Overnight temperatures falling to between 16 and 23 with daytime temperatures reaching the high 30s.
