Weather Situation

A trough over the Kimberley will deepen westward across the Pilbara coast on Wednesday. Another trough will pass through the west Pilbara during Tuesday morning before contracting towards the southeast later in the day. A ridge will strengthen through the inland Pilbara on Wednesday and Thursday.

Mostly clear. The chance of a thunderstorm in the far north early this evening. Winds northwest to southwesterly 15 to 25 km/h.

Tuesday 19 October

Very hot and mostly sunny. Slight (20%) chance of a shower in the northeast. The chance of a thunderstorm in the north in the afternoon and evening. Winds northwest to southwesterly 15 to 20 km/h becoming light before dawn then becoming northwest to southwesterly 20 to 30 km/h in the morning. Overnight temperatures falling to between 19 and 25 with daytime temperatures reaching around 40.
