Weather Situation

A trough lies near the Pilbara coast and extends into the southern Kimberley. The trough will drift south with a low pressure system developing over central WA on Wednesday. The low pressure system will persist through central parts of the state on Thursday and Friday, before contracting eastwards on during Saturday.

Mostly clear. The chance of a thunderstorm in the northeast. Winds northwest to southwesterly 15 to 25 km/h becoming light in the evening.

Mostly sunny. Slight (30%) chance of a shower in the north and east in the afternoon. The chance of a thunderstorm in the north and east in the afternoon. Winds northwest to southwesterly 15 to 25 km/h. Overnight temperatures falling to the low to mid 20s with daytime temperatures reaching 37 to 43.
