Weather Situation

A trough extends from inland Kimberley to the northern Interior, while a high pressure ridge strengthening to the south brings fresh southerly winds to the west Pilbara. A new trough will develop about the west Pilbara coast by Thursday. Meanwhile, a cloud band over the Pilbara will slowly contract east over the next couple of days.

Mostly clear. The chance of a thunderstorm early this evening. Winds northeast to southeasterly 15 to 20 km/h becoming light in the evening.

Partly cloudy. Slight chance of a shower. The chance of a thunderstorm. Light winds becoming east to northeasterly 25 to 35 km/h in the morning then tending northwest to southwesterly 15 to 20 km/h in the late evening.
