Weather Situation

A deep trough extends from the inland Pilbara through to the central Interior. A high pressure ridge develops over the south of the State on Wednesday, with the trough pushing north and weakening. A new trough will develop from the western Pilbara through to the southern Interior during Thursday and Friday.

Very hot and sunny. Light winds becoming northwest to northeasterly 15 to 25 km/h in the middle of the day then tending northwest to southwesterly in the late afternoon. Daytime maximum temperatures around 40.
