A surface trough extends from the North Interior to the inland Pilbara. The eastern portion of the trough will move north into the Kimberley over the weekend.

Very hot. Partly cloudy. Medium (50%) chance of showers in the afternoon and evening. The chance of a thunderstorm with gusty winds. Winds northwest to southwesterly 20 to 30 km/h becoming light in the late evening. Overnight temperatures falling to the mid to high 20s with daytime temperatures reaching 36 to 43.
