A trough extends from near the coast in the Pilbara through to the Kimberley and will drift slowly southwards over the weekend.

Very hot and sunny. Winds southeast to southwesterly 15 to 20 km/h tending northeast to southeasterly 20 to 30 km/h early in the morning then becoming light in the evening. Overnight temperatures falling to the mid to high 20s with daytime temperatures reaching 42 to 47.
