Tropical Cyclone Frances lies to the north of the Kimberley and is likely to continue to track west-southwest over open waters well north of the State and slowly weaken. A weak trough lies near the Pilbara coast and Kimberley coast. A high will move into the Bight during Tuesday with a ridge strengthening through the Interior of the State directing fresh and gusty easterly winds over the north of the State.
