A surface trough extends from the inland Pilbara through the north Interior. The western portion of the trough will move south into the Gascoyne from Monday.

Mostly clear. The chance of a thunderstorm in the north early this evening. Winds northeast to southeasterly 15 to 25 km/h tending southeast to southwesterly 25 to 35 km/h in the evening.

Sunday 17 February

Very hot and mostly sunny. Slight (20%) chance of a shower in the northeast in the afternoon. The chance of a thunderstorm in the afternoon and early evening. Winds southeast to southwesterly 15 to 25 km/h tending north to northwesterly 20 to 30 km/h in the middle of the day.
