Weather Situation

A trough extends from the Gascoyne, through the Goldfields into eastern parts of the South West Land Division, and will contract slowly east over southern parts during Friday and over the weekend. A weak cold front will brush the southwest of the state late Saturday, with a new surface trough redeveloping near the west coast on Monday.

Clear. Winds northeast to southeasterly 15 to 25 km/h tending south to southwesterly 15 to 20 km/h in the late evening.

Friday 22 February

Mostly sunny. Winds south to southwesterly 15 to 20 km/h tending northwest to southwesterly in the morning then tending south to southeasterly 15 to 25 km/h in the early afternoon. Overnight temperatures falling to between 16 and 21 with daytime temperatures reaching 30 to 41.
