Weather Situation

A ridge of high pressure strengthens over central and southern districts and moves southwards on Friday. A new high develops south of the Bight over the weekend as a new trough deepens near the west coast on Sunday. It will then move inland during the day and over eastern parts of the South West Land Division and Goldfields on Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday

Cloudy. Slight (20%) chance of a shower in the west, becoming less likely later this evening. Near zero chance of rain elsewhere. Winds south to southwesterly 15 to 25 km/h tending west to southwesterly 15 to 20 km/h in the late evening.

Friday 22 October

Partly cloudy. Slight (30%) chance of a shower in the morning. Light winds becoming south to southwesterly 15 to 20 km/h in the morning then tending south to southeasterly 15 to 25 km/h in the early afternoon. Overnight temperatures falling to between 7 and 10 with daytime temperatures reaching around 20.
