A trough lies over the Interior of WA and is expected to recede northeastwards by Friday. Meanwhile a ridge of high pressure builds to the south of the State. A new trough over the inland Gascoyne will develop down the west coast from Friday as the ridge strengthens to the south of the State.

Mostly clear. Winds southeasterly 15 to 25 km/h becoming light in the late evening.
