Weather Situation

A deep trough lies near the west coast and will move east during this evening, bringing a humid change to western coastal parts for Sunday. The trough will contract further eastwards on Monday to lie through central parts of the state and remain fairly stationary on Tuesday. The trough will redevelop near the west coast on Wednesday. Very hot conditions are expected on and east of the trough.

Clear. Winds east to northeasterly 15 to 20 km/h.

Mostly sunny. Slight (20%) chance of a shower in the north in the afternoon and early evening. Near zero chance of rain elsewhere. The chance of a thunderstorm in the north in the afternoon and evening. Winds north to northeasterly 15 to 20 km/h tending southeast to southwesterly in the late afternoon then becoming light in the evening. Overnight temperatures falling to between 15 and 19 with daytime temperatures reaching the mid to high 30s.
