A ridge of high pressure is strengthening over southern parts of the state.

Wallal to Cape Preston:
Strong Wind Warning for Sunday.
Saturday until midnight: Winds: Easterly 15 to 20 knots turning southeasterly 20
to 25 knots in the late evening. Seas: 1 to 2 metres. Swell: Southwesterly 0.5
metres.
Sunday: Winds: Easterly 25 to 30 knots decreasing to 15 to 25 knots around
midday. Seas: Up to 3 metres decreasing to 2 metres by early evening. Swell:
Westerly 0.5 metres.
Monday: Winds: East to southeasterly 20 to 30 knots becoming easterly 15 to 25
knots by late morning. Seas: Up to 3 metres decreasing below 2 metres around
midday. Swell: Westerly 0.5 metres.
Tuesday: Winds: Easterly 20 to 30 knots decreasing to 15 to 25 knots by late
morning.
