Fire Weather Warning
for the Goldfields fire weather district

Issued at 3:38 pm WST on Friday 27 November 2015.

Weather Situation

A deep surface trough extends from the Gascoyne towards the southwest of the State. The trough will begin to move eastwards through central parts of the State during Saturday. Hot through the Goldfields with fresh north to northwest winds.

For the rest of Friday 27 November:

The Fire Weather Warning for the Gascoyne Inland and Inland Central West - North forecast districts has been cancelled.

For Saturday 28 November:

Severe Fire Danger is forecast for the following fire weather district:

The Department of Fire and Emergency Services advises you to:

  • Action your Bushfire Survival Plan now.
  • Monitor the fire and weather situation through your local radio station, and
  • Call 000 (Triple Zero) in an emergency.
