Fire Weather Warning
for the Gascoyne, Ashburton Inland and Coastal Central West - North fire weather districts

Weather Situation

Very hot with fresh sea breezes near the west coast extending into adjacent inland parts later in the afternoon.

For the rest of Monday 26 January:

Severe Fire Danger is forecast for the following fire weather districts:
Gascoyne, Ashburton Inland and Coastal Central West - North

If you are in a SEVERE or EXTREME Fire Danger area:

  • The Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) advises if a fire starts and takes hold it will be unpredictable, move very fast and be difficult for firefighters to bring under control.

No further warnings will be issued for this event, but the situation will continue to be monitored and further warnings issued if necessary.
