Warning to Sheep Graziers
for the Central West, Lower West, South West, South Coastal, South East Coastal, Great Southern and Central Wheat Belt forecast districts

Issued at 9:52 pm WST on Monday 3 August 2020.

Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, rain and showers and southerly winds are expected during Tuesday. Areas likely to be affected include the South Coastal, South East Coastal and Central Wheat Belt forecast districts and parts of the Central West, Lower West, South West and Great Southern forecast districts. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions. Areas near the south coast are likely to experience an extended period of heavy rainfall with cold and fresh easterly winds, and in this area the risk to lambs and sheep is greater than usual.

The next warning will be issued by 5:00 am WST Tuesday.
