Water Information Research and Development Alliance
The Bureau is working closely with CSIRO scientists as part of the five-year (2008-2013), $50 million Water Information Research and Development Alliance (WIRADA) to push the boundaries of existing water science and information technology to support Bureau functions
Australian Research Council (ARC) Linkage Projects
The Bureau is collaborating with some leading Australian Universities on a number of ARC linkage projects that will enhance our knowledge of significant climate and hydrologic processes to support streamflow forecasting, water resource assessment and water accounting activities.
eWater CRC
The Bureau's water information initiative is benefitting from access to world-leading hydrologic modelling software being produced by eWater CRC, a joint venture organisation involving 45 of Australia's leading water management, consulting and research organisations.
