Cotter Dam water storage update

Cotter Dam water storage graph

The storage capacity of the Cotter Dam was increased earlier this year to 76 197 ML, which is nearly 20 times its original capacity of 3847 ML.

This increases the Territory’s water storage capacity by 35 per cent and will play a key role in helping to secure the region’s future water supply.

The Water Storage site allows you to compare water storage levels and volumes for more than 300 major publicly-owned lakes, reservoirs and weirs across Australia.

As well as these individual storage systems, you can discover how much water is available in Australia, each State and Territory, capital city, drainage division and major supply system.
