The 2013 Progress Report describes the Bureau’s progress in implementing the ten-year Improving Water Information Programme, which began in 2007.

Products and services delivered this year include the third National Water Account, the second Australian Water Resources Assessment and new Intensity–Frequency–Duration Design Rainfall estimates. The Seasonal Streamflow Forecast Service grew to 70 sites and the National Climate and Water Briefings continued to inform important decision makers.

This year’s report also highlights key achievements over the past six and half years, as well as some of the challenges encountered and the important work that will follow in coming years.
