Improving Water Information Program reaches the half-way mark
The 2012 progress report describes progress towards the program's ten objectives and answers fundamental questions about Australia’s water resources.
An expanding suite of water information products and services has been delivered this year, including the first Australian Water Accounting Standard, the second National Water Account, and the Groundwater Dependent Ecosystems Atlas. The Bureau’s Seasonal Streamflow Forecasting Service has grown, and the National Climate and Water Briefings continue to inform decision-makers in the water sector.
