Supporting information

The volumetric value for the line item at end of 2009–10 is 453 ML.

The volumes in this line item represent advance diversion of surface water allocation detailed in the following two tables.

Advance diversion may occur where the water sharing plans or rules provide for water to be used in advance of the allocation. In New South Wales, this is repaid in the following year when the allocation announcement is made. New South Wales data include volumes that have been overdrawn for stock and domestic, local water utility and high-security entitlements.
