The volume recognised in the water accounting statements (9,079 ML) represents metered groundwater extraction within groundwater management units in the Melbourne region. The volume does not include stock and domestic extraction, as that is recognised in Line item 16.5.1 Groundwater allocation extraction – stock and domestic water access entitlement.
