The volume recognised in the water accounting statements (0 ML) represents the allocation remaining for the following entitlements in the Melbourne region.

• 555,000 ML from the Thomson, Yarra, and Goulburn catchments, for bulk entitlements held by Yarra Valley Water, City West Water and South East Water.
• 30,510 ML from the Bunyip catchment, for bulk entitlements held by Yarra Valley Water, City West Water and South East Water.
• 11,250 ML from the Yarra catchment, for the bulk entitlement held by Western Water.

No formal allocation was made. The allocation volume was set to be that of the diversion volume (see note for Line item 25.1.4 Allocation announcement on regulated flows – urban water access entitlement). The closing balance of the allocation remaining is therefore zero, as carryover is not permitted for these entitlements.
