The volume recognised in the water accounting statements (2,257 ML) represents the volume of groundwater allocation remaining for entitlements for the purpose of urban water supply to Kununurra and Halls Creek at the end of 2009–10.
The groundwater allocation remaining was calculated as shown in the table below.
