This line item refers to all other surface water supply in the Perth region not related to public water or irrigation schemes, such as mining, industrial and agricultural use.

The volume recognised in the Statement of Water Assets and Water Liabilities (24,422 ML) represents the volume of surface water allocation remaining for these licence entitlements at the end of the reporting period (30 June 2010).

The total allocation remaining on 30 June 2010 for lumped holder entitlements is relatively large compared to that for public water or irrigation scheme supply (see line items 8.1.2.4 and 8.1.2.1, respectively). This is because there are many lumped holder entitlements within the Perth region, all with different licence anniversary dates (in general, the water management year commences at the time of licence application).
