Water Accounting Statements

Segment water accounting statements

The purpose of this note is to provide water accounting information for two segments: Northern Basin and the Southern Basin of the Murray–Darling Basin (MDB) region. These two segments are shown in Figure 1.  More details of the segments are included in General description, Surface water and Groundwater sections in the Contextual information.

Tables 1 – 3 provide water accounting statements for the two segments plus consolidated statements for the whole region.
