  • Water availability in the Ord region's storages increased during 2020–21.
  • Water availability is represented by the net water assets, which are the volume of water in storages minus the water liabilities.

Schematic representation of the Ord region. Total water assets at 30 June 2020 was 8,250 GL. Total water liabilities was 319 GL. Closing net water assets at 30 June 2021 was 7,931 GL, 94% more than last year.
