About us
The Water Accounting Standards Board (WASB) oversees and coordinates all AWAS development activities. We also provide advice to the Bureau of Meteorology and the National Water Account Committee (NWAC) for water accounting standards matters relevant to the National Water Account (NWA).
The WASB functions as an independent expert advisory board at the Bureau. It has a dedicated support office and is based in Melbourne. Click here to read our Terms of Reference
