Competitive salaries and excellent working conditions

Superannuation & Salary Packaging

We offer competitive salaries and professional working conditions. Our remuneration package includes a generous employer contributed superannuation scheme. In Australia, all employers are required to contribute to an employee's superannuation fund in addition to the employee's salary. The Bureau contributes 15.4% superannuation, well above the minimum employer requirement of 9%. Salary packaging options are also available.

You are also eligible for other types of leave include long service leave, leave without pay, maternity and paternity leave, adoption leave and study leave.

The Bureau's Study Leave Policy encourages staff to undertake formal study to enhance their skills and knowledge. Study leave includes provision for attending lectures and completing study and research commitments.

If you are transferring from another Australian Government employer, in certain instances, we will recognise prior service in relation to sick leave and long service leave.
