We need experienced hydrologists to join our Water Analysis and Reporting Branch. As one of our Senior Hydrologists you will lead staff involved in the preparation of annual national water resources assessments, national water accounts and various hydrologic forecasts. Teams will undertake analysis and reporting on various aspects of surface water, groundwater, water quality and water use across Australia, with most tasks involving some degree of hydrologic modelling. Periodic involvement in flood forecasting activities is likely.
Where required, appointees will be provided with on-the-job or tailored training in hydrologic theory and practice, including short-term placements in partner organisations to gain experience in specialised aspects of water resources management.
