This page describes the enhanced Graphical Forecast Explorer prototype - an experimental product coming soon.
Product Description & Features
The new viewer will provide a whole new way to view Bureau data, and allow you to:
- select the data layers you wish to see in an easy-to-use interface
- pan and zoom, similar to mapping tools such as Google maps
- animate a range of forecast grids (temperature, winds, wave height etc) derived from the Australian Digital Forecast Database
- animate a range of other data sources such as Radar, satellite and weather prediction models
