Current Weather Situation and Future Developments
A high pressure system centred over the Tasman Sea extends a ridge into NSW
bringing light winds and sunny conditions to the ACT through to the weekend. A
weak cold front moving across the south of the continent on Sunday will bring
cloudy conditions with isolated showers and possible thunderstorms to the region
in the afternoon/evening. Mostly fine and mild weather is forecast for the first
half of the new week as the next high pressure system strengthens over the
Bight.

Dry. Mostly sunny day with light to moderate northwesterly winds tending light
westerly in the evening.
