Winds Highest gust recorded 64 kn (120 km/h) at Mornington Is on 26th. Highest estimated gusts 90 kn (168 km/h) on 26th.
Rainfall Extensive heavy rains maintained the flooding across the NT, with many communities isolated. 24 hr totals; 212mm Mornington Is, 107mm Westmoreland Stn, 113mm Centre Is, 108mm Wollogorang, 27th, 176mm Westmoreland Stn, 155mm Larrimah, 28th; 111mm Elliott, 90mm Wave Hill 1st March..
Seas & storm surge Very rough seas. Storm surge 1.3m measured at Mornington Is and 1.2m measured at Karumba on 26th.
Damage Slight building damage and extensive tree damage and powerlines down on Mornington Is.
