| Rainfall | Very heavy rain on north coast. Highest 24hr totals, 158mm at Elcho Is. on 27th, 152mm at Goulburn Is. on 28th, and 142mm at Milingimbi on 28th. Heaviest rain fell in Darwin area; 443mm at Noonamah and 288mm at Darwin Aero. on 27th and 28th. Record December rainfall for Darwin (583mm). |
