| Seas & storm surge | No seas greater than moderate were reported except at Groote, where one particular surge covered the 'Iron Wyndham', moored 10m above sea level. |
| Damage | The widespread rain eroded parts of the beef road under construction from Anthony Lagoon to Borroloola, causing an estimated $150,000 damage. During gale force winds at Groote, $150,000 damage was incurred to Gemco wharf installations, and a landing barge was sunk. |
